It's Lit Bbq Place is a spin off of Linda’s Kitchen “good southern food for the soul” which brought you great dishes like chicken and waffles, Clara’s fried chicken, catfish, oxtails, and many other greats.
With the combination of both ~ we have the best of both worlds, bringing to you excellent barbecue, and great Southern Food!

You must try this place, it may not have all the great atmosphere and all bells and whistles but if you're looking for great bbq this is it. Not only is the bbq good but the fried chicken is something you'll never taste anywhere else it comes to you very hot, very juicy. The flavor is remarkable you get two sides with your entree and a piece of corn bread. I had the chili beans because there's a write up in the window about there chicken and chili beans. Very good, you can taste the shreds of tri tip in it, also very fine ground beef. My other side was mac and cheese. Folks if you remember how your grandmother made it, that is what you're getting - truly homemade. You can tell they cook daily because it comes out very hot and extremely good. Don't take my word for it, go try yourself. P.S. Oh and you better be hungry, they are very generous with the portions.

Heads up - this is the new, NEW location for Linda's Kitchen. This is the big wooden 2-story house near the big wooden clog on Chester. They have the hands down best chicken and waffles in town! The catfish is as big as a boat and all the sides are fabulous.
